Shameful Sequels was a YouTube review series created and hosted by former Channel Awesome content creator Mike Jeavons,[1] where he would analyze generally awful sequels, which lasted 9 years, from 2009 to 2018.
Availability[edit | edit source]
Like several other content creators of Channel Awesome, most of his material was uploaded exclusively through Blip.tv. Unfortunately, due to the streaming platform being bought by Maker Studios on August 20th, 2015.[2] A massive amount of videos uploaded by several content creators (including Mike Jeavons) were lost when the streaming platform shut down. According to a statement Mike made on Twitter:
"If anyone wants my old Shameful Sequels episodes you may want to download them for yourselves. Not sure how many I'll be able to put on YT."[3]

The Shameful Sequels series spawn a couple of spin-offs and specials. "Hang On A Second" where Mike would analyze generally good sequel and "Asylum Seeker" which focused on Asylum's mockbusters. Both Hang on a Second and Asylum Seeker have been found in their entirety.
