Ratchet & Clank is a video game franchise owned by Sony Interactive Entertainment that has received 16 installments as of 2021. The series has received critical acclaim and is considered to be one of PlayStation's flagship franchises, having had new media release on a regular basis since its start in 2002.

The series received its first mobile game with Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile! in 2005. The 2D sidescroller saw Ratchet and Clank get transported into the virtual world of a Secret Agent Clank Vid-Comic. The game ended on a cliffhanger that set up a follow-up.

On June 16th, 2006, IGN.com posted an article revealing that a direct sequel titled Ratchet & Clank: Clone Home was in development.[1] The game would have taken place immediately after the end of Going Mobile!, with the duo shrinking themselves down into an undefined location in order to fight clones of themselves. It was set to feature 15 playable levels and a larger selection of weapons than its predecessor, however the game was eventually cancelled for undisclosed reasons. No builds of the game have surfaced online.

As evidenced by the title screen image, it was planned for the game to allow the player to unlock a skin for Ratchet in another installment in the same vein as its predecessor. However, it's unknown what installment the game would've been compatible with. A lost media wiki member contacted a Javaground employee, who has confirmed the game reached "gold master" status (a.k.a. finished development)
