The 5/20/15 Movie Talk episode

Status: Lost

AMC Movie Talk (later known as Collider Movie Talk) is an internet talk show that aired between 2012 and 2020. Created for AMC Theater’s Movie News division, the show aired a half-hour episode every week on YouTube. While all episodes of both iterations of the show remain documented online, one 2015 episode was removed shortly after airing, and has never resurfaced online.

The Episode

Nearly always, the AMC Movie Talk episodes air live and are posted on YouTube soon after.

On May 21st, 2015, an AMC Movie Talk [1] episode aired live that was removed from YouTube soon after for unknown reasons. Many comments[2] on the following day's Movie Talk video claim the episode was removed because John Campea and the rest of the cast aired a video of Australian TV personality Maude Garrett being pranked by a Chucky Doll,[3] which lead to the whole panel ridiculed Garrett in a cruel way. However, these claims are unconfirmed. The Chucky video itself is still available to be viewed on YouTube via Maude Garrett's channel.[4]

It is unknown why the episode was removed, however the episode has not resurfaced since. Due to the show no longer airing and no longer belonging to AMC, the likelihood of the episode resurfacing is unlikely.
