Originally, this milestone article was meant to discuss just Clarkson, Hammond and May's auditions... then I found a lot of other stuff and ended up going too far. As a result, this page is bigger by 30k characters than my Corbett-Fitzsimmons Fight write-up, I am SO sorry! Still, enjoy some very interesting facts behind the UK, Australian and American shows! Also, plenty of Fifth Gear, Driven and other lost media is briefly discussed too...
